Sustainability certification

EcoVadis (Bronze medal awarded on 2 February 2026)

In alignment with environmental, health, safety and ethical principles, we pursue the goal of securing a liveable future while ensuring long-term economic viability. With the start of our participation in the EcoVadis rating system in June 2024, our structured and documented sustainability journey began. The “Committed” label awarded in October 2024 marked the starting point for further development. In a cross-functional process, all departments work closely together to create transparency regarding our sustainability performance.

Based on the assessment, various internal projects were initiated and targeted corrective and improvement measures implemented in order to further strengthen our environmental, social and ethical standards. EcoVadis supports us with an internationally recognised assessment approach that transparently analyses sustainability aspects within the company and along the supply chain.

A key milestone on this journey was the award of the EcoVadis Bronze medal in February 2026. This distinction confirms the progress made since the beginning of our sustainability journey and motivates us to consistently develop our measures further and embed sustainable business practices in the long term.

Responsible action requires clear guidelines. At H+H SYSTEM, sustainability is firmly embedded in our corporate governance. Through binding policies, transparent processes and clearly defined responsibilities, we ensure that environmental, social and ethical standards are consistently implemented across all areas of the company.

Structures & responsibilities

Anchored at management level: Executive management bears overall responsibility for sustainability. An interdisciplinary ESG steering team (Environment, Social, Governance) coordinates measures and reports directly to the company’s leadership.
Clear objectives & KPIs: We work with measurable targets (e.g. CO₂ reduction, energy efficiency, occupational health and safety, supplier compliance) and regularly review progress.
Risk management & compliance: Sustainability and compliance risks (e.g. environmental impact, occupational safety, data protection, corruption) are systematically identified, assessed and minimised through preventive measures.

Transparency & reporting

Regular updates: We communicate progress and measures as part of our corporate communications and – where appropriate – in the form of concise sustainability reports.
Documentation & traceability: Processes, responsibilities and results are documented internally and are auditable.

Ethical conduct & compliance

Code of conduct: Our code of conduct defines standards for integrity, anti-corruption, fair collaboration, data protection and respectful interaction.
Supply chain & procurement: We are committed to responsible sourcing with clear requirements for environmental and social standards. Suppliers are selected based on defined criteria and are regularly evaluated.
